Resilience communities start with a home.
Everyone deserves a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In Nepal, we partner with families and communities to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through decent, affordable housing.
Habitat for Humanity Nepal is part of a global housing organization working across Asia-Pacific and beyond. Our work in Nepal spans construction, financial inclusion, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and land and housing policy and literacy, alongside disaster response when communities need it most. Guided by our FY25–27 Strategic Framework, we work alongside families, local partners, and volunteers so that a safe, affordable home becomes the foundation for a more resilient future.
Families and communities in Nepal facing inadequate or unsafe housing; local and international donors, partners, and volunteers; government and policy stakeholders in the housing sector; and the broader public interested in community development and disaster resilience in Nepal.

Center the dignity and agency of families and communities. Use plain, accessible language over jargon. Highlight partnership ("build alongside," not "build for"). Ground claims in real program work (construction, financial inclusion, WASH, policy, disaster response).
Don't use pity-driven or "poverty porn" framing. Don't imply Habitat builds homes for people rather than with them. Avoid overly technical or bureaucratic language in public-facing content.
"A safe home is where resilience begins. With your support, Habitat for Humanity Nepal partners with families to build not just houses, but stronger, more self-reliant communities."
