Welcome
Arrive in Kathmandu where Habitat Nepal’s GV team will greet you and you’ll meet your group. You’ll learn more about Habitat Nepal’s work across Nepal over dinner.
Learn
We will leave the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and travel towards Habitat Nepal’s work sites. During your travel, you will get an opportunity to learn and see more about Nepali life and also experience the rich culture of the country.
Meet & Build
You will head out to the building site and introduced to the family and community you will be serving by Habitat Nepal team. There will also be an orientation about the work and safety.
Build, build and build
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to break a sweat! You will be spending the day in the build site building along with the homeowner. Habitat engineers and staff will be present on site to guide you along the way and help you ask questions or interact with the family and community members throughout the day.
Celebrate
Spend the morning by putting the finishing touch to the house before enjoying a farewell ceremony celebrating the week’s accomplishment with the homeowner.
Goodbyes
After saying goodbyes, we head back to Kathmandu to explore the local markets and Durbars (Palace). From here on, you can continue your adventures in Nepal independently or bid farewell and a time to look forward to your next visit to Nepal.
